If you want to spend your money smartly on a Corvette- buy a numbers matching car. It will appreciate and when you sell it there will be far more demand for it anddemand dictates price. Or you can spend 45k for a pieced together car...but most potential buyers will immediately lose interest when you do not have the answer they want from their 1st question "Does the car have its original engine."Also consider - Powerglide cars like this one have not been beat on, raced & hot rodded. They have not had engines, transmissions, rear ends blown & replaced. As a result you have here a 53 year old car that is unmolested and very original...and they're only original once.
Try finding another C1 this original, this rare, in this condition for this price...good luck doing so. There are now 25 1962 Corvettes listed in usedcorvettesforsale.com of those only 6 are priced below 65k and ours is the only one of those 6 that has its original engine.
Trades; will consider Corvettes, 65-67 convertibles if they have original engine. Unfinished cars ok, cash can go either way.
