1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 350 V8 2 Door Hardtop Additional Info:

West Coast Classics are happy to present a great daily driving example of this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 Door Malibu Hardtop SS tribute with a 5.7L 350 V8 engine. The car has been repainted in a striking Red color with painted Tuxedo Black SS stripes.
The car has new Cragar SS chrome wheels (15x7 front and 15x8 rear) mounted on brand new Cooper Cobra tires (225/75/15 front and 275/60/15 rear). The car has an SS hood, new 'Goodmark front grille', all new exterior trim & new SS emblem kit. All the glass is in very nice shape and the exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly. All the gauges, the horn, wipers and interior lighting all function properly
The car has a 5.7L 350 4V cubic inch V8 which was reportedly rebuilt by previous owner and runs great. It has an 'Edelbrock Performer' aluminum intake manifold, new 'Max Flow' chrome air cleaner and matching '350' chrome valve covers, a rebuilt OEM 'Rochester' Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor, Delco Remy HEI electronic ignition, new Accel 8mm wires, new Everstart battery, a recent tune up, oil change and radiator flush. Exhaust is factory manifolds running into dual 2 1/4 inch piping with 'Flowmaster 40' series mufflers and full length piping exiting the rear of the car and consequently the car has a very nice deep rumble. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with shift improver which shifts nicely through all gears.
The car has a new repaint in Red which is base/clearcoat with painted sports stripes under the clearcoat and which we would describe as of average quality. The interior has been redone with factory style seat upholstery, new carpet, new front GM retractable seat belts, new door panels, new sill plates, new 'Grant' Bowtie steering wheel, new billet shift lever, new headliner, new rear package tray. The car originally had air conditioning but the compressor and evaporator housing has been removed at some point. A Pioneer CD player is installed but not currently hooked up.
The car has a GM 10 bolt rear end. Brakes are power disc up front and drum out back. New master cylinder installed. The front pads and rear shoes are all in good shape and the car stops nicely. The suspension is all stock with factory coil springs front and rear. Front and rear shocks were replaced by previous owner, gas shocks up front and adjustable air shocks in the rear. Rear differential has been topped off. Trunk is clean with no rust.
Please note the car has a 'Salvage' title for reasons we do not know. We acquired the car as it is and have priced it accordingly. Inspections both encouraged and welcomed.
