West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautifully restored example with no expense spared custom fully professionally restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro LS V8 RS Custom with a 4L60 E automatic transmission car showing super desirable Black color paint with White racing stripes treatment matched to a Black & White Houndstooth interior and customized and upgraded with power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, Detroit Speed Quadralink rear suspension kit, JRI coil overs HP racing shocks, tubular front control arms, Vintage Air Conditioning & Heat, 20" Budnik chrome forged wheels, American Autowire 22 circuit wiring harness kit, electric headlights, tilt wheel, sweeping arm clock, remote mirror and center console with gauges! The massive success that was Fords Mustang did not go unnoticed by the folks over at Chevrolet. Looking to capture a share of the burgeoning pony car market, Chevrolets answer to the Mustang was the Camaro. Making its debut in September of 1966 the Camaro, like the Mustang, was available in a wide array of options and body styles. Introduced two years after the Mustang, Chevrolet realized that to pose a serious threat, merely introducing the Camaro would not be enough - a car capable of beating the Mustang at the racetrack was needed if the Camaro was to stand a chance against the widely popular Mustang and thus the Z28 was born. This particular custom example must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a seriously striking example in Black with White sports stripes and the legendary houndstooth interior which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with only some 3,924 miles on the build. The car's restoration and repaint is obviously of a very high quality with a very professional finish although there is one very small imperfection in the form of a slight stress crack in the paint on the passenger side front fender, please see photo attached below. The interior is also absolutely gorgeous.
