1969 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
You don't often see trucks like this 1969 Chevy C10 pickup finished to this level. Not heavily modified, but almost completely restored to stock and beautifully finished for a more authentic feel. a strong 350 V8 crate motor and aided with choice options like power steering, power brakes, and an A/C interior, this red-hot C-10 pickup is the one to have if your goal is to turn heads.
The bright red paint looks to be relatively recent and is finished with a very nice shine and gloss, so it has a proper 1969 look, albeit a lot more vivid than original. The regular cab/short bed combination is the one to own and this particular pickup carries straight sheetmetal for a completely factory look, including the bed, although a subtle rolled pan was added along the way out back in place of the rear bumper. It's easy to see how straight this truck really is just by looking at the reflections in its skin and the details were very well executed, and it's also been treated to plenty of professional buff-and-waxes in its life, making the final finish something that you could be proud of at your local cruise in. Sure, it's not perfect, but nothing in this world is, and this truck is absolutely a vintage hauler to be proud of. There's not a ton of brightwork but all the stainless trim, badges, emblems, and chrome bumpers are either new or restored, same with the glass, and there's new weather stripping throughout so it drives and feels like a new truck. The front grille and headlight buckets shine up great against the red finish, and the black 'Chevrolet' script embossed in the center is a familiar sight to any fan of classic cars and trucks. Classic taillights with newer lenses give it an old-fashioned style at night and the twin chrome tailpipes peeking out from underneath are a not-so-subtle reminder that there's considerable performance living up front. The bed was painted to match the exterior and then covered with a thick rubber mat, so you don't have to worry about using it as intended now and again.
Black upholstery is the sensible choice with the bright red bodywork and the new vinyl upholstery is very comfortable. Tooled door panels with minimalist arm rests are a part of the C10's appeal and are in excellent condition and the plush black carpets below do a great job of insulating the cab from heat and road noise. The gauges inside the factory bezel are some of the most attractive dials ever installed in a utilitarian pickup and their crisp markings and clear lenses suggest that someone spent some time freshening them for this truck. An 'Old Air' aftermarket A/C system uses modern R134a refrigerant, blowing cold air throughout the cabin. A Sony AM/FM/AUX/Bluetooth head unit in the center of the dash makes for a pleasant travelling companion and the wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel would look at home in a restomod Camaro. Everything is newer, so it has a uniform, clean, fresh look that will hold up for years to come.
A later-model 350 cubic inch V8 crate motor was dropped in and is really running superbly today. It's not radical or high strung, so it's very user-friendly, and the Chevrolet Orange dress-up pieces make it look great in the otherwise glossy black engine bay. Chevy Orange paint on the block reinforces the fact that this is a pretty stock build, and just about everything under the hood looks new or serviced, including the A/C compressor, power brake booster and master cylinder, and the aluminum radiator that keeps the whole show nice and cool. It's backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end that hangs on factory heavy-duty springs. A custom dual exhaust system with chambered mufflers give it a mellow burble at idle and it's quite solid underneath, showing off a life lived easy. Chrome Rally wheels wearing staggered 235/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A white-letter radials add an aggressive stance that still fits the factory look.
This is a really nice truck that doesn't cut any corners. If you liked these trucks when they were new, this is a great opportunity to relive the past with a bright red hauler. Call today!
