1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 4 dr station wagon Additional Info:
This car is a very good condition 1955 Chevrolet. It has been taken apart to start body work and then life hasn't allowed the project to continue. The motor is not original. It has a 327 V8 installed that is ready to be pulled. The engine ran well but could use mains and rods. I was going to refresh it completely as it has been in storage for awhile. The transmission is not original either but is a Muncie 4 speed that came out of a Corvette. The car has very little rust, the typical above the headlights and inside one wheel well I believe. All the glass is in good shape. The body is straight there wouldn't be much work to get it ready for paint. It has a sunroof cut into it by the previous owner that could either be patched or used as a custom add on. The interior needs to be redone but all the parts that were salvageable are there. The car comes with a brand new complete window channel kit. There is a set of awesome wheels as well. This car would be really cool completed. My vision was an all out custom. I was going to put in a new subframe in front with coil overs and disk brakes. It was going to be lowered. I was debating to put a tilt front end on the car or not. I was also going to do a mild pro-street conversion in the rear. Tongue and groove wood in the back interior space with a wood burned bowtie logo. Killer custom paint job, etc. Big plans but now it can be someone else's vision. I believe if done right this car could be worth $40,000 or more.
