1963 Chevrolet Nova SS Additional Info:
1963 Gasser Nova As pictures will try to capture this cars glass fenders, hood, trunk lid, bumpers and panels are straightwith SMOOTH contours and CRISP lines! The panel gaps line up very nicely and the paint that was laid out over thisbody is nice, is it perfect? Heck no, but it looks good! The Classic Gasser stance including Jim Meyers Racing straight front axle and American Racing Torque Trust wheelsis VERY nice also. What gasser would be complete without a Competition Engineering wheelie bar!? The glass is all clear and easy to see through. The bottom of this car looks super nice also and is ALL custom from Hendrick Performance, who also did the cage and ALL other metal fab work! This car represents a nice restoration! The interior is super cool from a set of new, worked seats and dash pad also. The gauges are CLEAR and EVERY one works! The dash is perfect and the door panels have been reworked. Everything on this interior is nice right along with all working hardware. You will also notice a five-point harness for both driver and passenger. Inside and out this car is a solid! As you pop the hood off you will notice that between the glass fenders rests a 383 that is detailed VERY WELL! It hosts Brodix Aluminum heads, an Edlbrock Performer air gap intake, Holly 750 duel feed double pumper mechanical secondary carb, and a Lunati Bootlegger roller cam, lifters and roller rockers! Looking around the bay you will also notice aPetronix ignition, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Aluminum radiator, Willwood booster and a Milidon 7 quart oil pan on the bottom of it all.The 383 is paired to a pro built Tremec TKO600 5sp transmission that shifts smooth as can be with a responsive hydraulic RAM clutch! linked to the Tremec is a Pro 5.0 shifter with Hurst Arm and line-loc!It puts power to the ground through a Competition Engineering Fab 9 rear end with Nascar nodular center section, Motive 5.14 gears and Eaton Tru Trac (Richmond 4.11 polished gears)! Linking the 383 and Tremec is a3in aluminum driveshaft with Spicer 1350 U joints. It also has a Lakewood bellhousing and Moser 31 spline axles under it. This car starts with a couple pumps and a push of a button. It runs extremely well and drives nice being fully streetable and not running a bit over 180 degrees! This car also has Wilwood 4 piston calipers in all four corners with NEW stainless steel brake linesthat helpstop this car very well. Looking under the car you will also notice a 10 gallon fuel cel with shut of. The custom exhaust has anice note at idle and only gets better as you get into the gas! This isa clean, nice and FAST 63 with less than 800 miles on the build! If a buyer is interested we also have M&H slicks on matching rims, front drag tires, fiberglass doors, FULL lexan window set, fire suppression system, Diest parachute, Comp Engineering parachute mount and Moroso solid motor mounts!
