1963 Chevrolet Nova Nova Additional Info:

LOW RESERVE!!! This is a super fun driver. The only reason for the sale is I am liquidating my toys for an investment opportunity.

Here are a couple videos doing a walk around and also so you can hear the engine: You may need to cut and paste them since ebay does not allow hyperlinks.

https://youtu.be/EsYP5VDMwC8 No expense spared to make this a period/date/casting number correct gasser from the 60's era. This is a very rust free floor and trunk pan car, never even any surface rust underneath. 80,000 original mile car to start this build. Body freshly painted with Urethane Enamel paint in original white paint code for Nova from the 60’s. Only body repairs done before paint were to replace small rust spots in the bottom of front fender, bottom of the doors and top of rear wheel well opening. All new metal welded in all areas and then undercoating on the back side of front fenders, inside the doors and the rear wheel well area so it won't ever happen again.

All new gasser front clip by BzRods including ceramic tumble polished front axle. Heater, wipers etc have been removed from firewall, all holes welded up for perfectly smooth firewall finish. Powertrain all date/period/casting number correct using a 1965 Corvette 365 horsepower complete engine adding tunnel ram manifold, dual 4 barrel carbs and Joe Hunt HEI Magneto for spark. (All original distributor and aluminum intake for this rare Corvette engine goes with thes sale of this car) 1965 aluminum 4 speed transmission with Hurst Competition Plus shifter from the era installed also. Lakewood blow up proof bellhousing installed with new flywheel, clutch and throwout bearing. Rear axle is 8.2 20 bolt 1965 V8 Chevy Nova rear assembly adding a Moser cast aluminum rear cover and traction bars.

NEW ITEMS:

Leather steering wheel, carpeting, arm rests, door panels, front and back seat upholstery, sill plates, shifter boot and plate, seat belts, package tray, door and window handles, window felts in and out, tilt steering column, clutch and brake pedal assembly, Stewart Warner oil, temp and electrical gauges mounted in period correct finned cast aluminum panel, door handles, bumpers front and back, tail light bezels and lenses, front marker light bezels and lenses, outside mirror, fuel tank, door and trunk weather stripping.

Totally rebuilt engine with new rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, timing gear set, aluminum water pump, finned aluminum oil pan, oil pump, Competition cams, roller rockers, lightweight spring retainers, ground valves, Edelbrock tunnel ram with 2 holley 4 barrel carburetors with new linkage, Joe Hunt HEI magneto system, Doug's fenderwell headers with muffler system welded into end caps, Polished aluminum scoop, radiator, fan shroud, fan all new.

Also new is Competition Engineering frame connectors, Tubular transmission mount by BzRods Master Cylinder, Stainless Steel brake lines in front, wiring system for complete car with modern fuses, Fuel tank, Front shocks and Rear air shocks, Vega Steering box, Chrome engine mounts, Front inner fender panel system, Front Rocket Launcher 15 x 4.5 with Firestone 155R15 tires, Rear Rocket Injector 15 x 8 with Towel City retread cheater slicks pie crust edges in the rear.

Brand new headliner material comes with the car but was not installed as the original one is in pretty good condition, regardless the new one goes with car. One of the only things not finished with car is the tachometer mounted on steering column that is original from the 60's and does not work. A painted hood does come with the car and has been cut for clearance for tunnel ram but has not been mounted, the original hinges do come with the car but I would consider using a lightweight drag race style hinge or just hood pins to be really correct for the day. The car has not been lettered but could assist in getting it done by a great stripper locally? Car starts, runs, drives, shifts, etc. excellent. With the original 350 horsepower high performance hydraulic lifter cam it is believed to be 11 to 1 compression piston set, the car is not too radical to drive anywhere. Rear axle gear ratio is highway driving gears, not low gear ratio for drag strip.
