1974 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
NO RESERVEThis is a 1974 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe. I bought this truck earlier in the year in southern Arkansas from the original owners son who had inherited it. The truck was purchased new on 4-23-1974 at Cliff Peck Chevrolet in Little Rock Arkansas with 377 miles due to it being a dealer demo from 4-1-1974 as documented in GM paper work I received with the truck. It's equipped with a 350 v8, turbo 350 trans. and 12 bolt rear end. Other options include power steering, power brakes, tilt, and A/C not currently charged but it's all there. I put new calipers and new brake lines on the front. Also has like new 235/75-15 tires. I put the hub caps on the truck but it also comes with the original full hub caps that I've never seen another set of. "They are Ugly!!" The paint is very oxidized but would buff out. He told me it was repainted in the early 80s and you can see a little filler that has cracked by the passenger side front marker light and at the bottom of the same fender, probably from a dent?? cab mounts and floor pans are in perfect shape with no rust, "still had the factory sound deadener under the carpet in great shape". there are a few bubbles showing on the body here and there nothing major. When I bought the truck it had a large tank in the bed because he ran it on propane since it was new, I took all that stuff off and changed it back to gas. If the new owner wants all the propane stuff to hook back up, they can have it. I've also put new carpet and new dash cover and door panels to freshen up the interior. That's actually the factory seat cover but it faded so its dyed back to the original color. All the gauges work except the gas gauge. It's pegged on full so that means it needs a sending unit. These trucks are getting hard to find like this and it is very solid and straight but it's not perfect. It needs some odds and ends. I've drove the truck very little and one issue is it needs the bearing or something tightened up or replaced in the steering column and a tune up. I just have too many vehicles so need to thin some out. I have a clean and clear title in my name. This is a no reserve auction. To make arrangements to inspect the truck or for more information please call or text Mark at 417-766-2738. If you have a eBay score of less that 10 you must call me before you bid.
