1960 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne Additional Info:
First of all it is a Biscayne but there is no option so that's why its listed as a Impala.
I hate to sell this one but I am building a new house so I have to sell several of my projects to help fund the build.
This is a true unmolested all original paint car. There is minimal rust in the outer body and is a perfect candidate to leave the outside the original patina and restore the interior and drop in a different drivetrain. Its begging for a LS swap and air ride IMO.
The floors and trunk floor had rust and someone patched it all up. It's amateur job with just flat and hand formed metal. Its a functional repair but if you want to restore to original it will need to be cut out and new pans and trunk floor installed.
Frame is rock solid
The 6cy is free but I have never attempted to make it run since I was going to do a V8 / automatic swap.
The interior is all there but every stitch will need replaced. Its all trashed.
With the exception of the windshield the glass is in great shape.
Overall is an excellent project and finding one like this in original paint that has not been restored multiple times is getting harder and harder.
