1960 Chevy Biscayne 2 Door project car! This car was owned by the same owner since 1983, and has been parked ever since he first bought it. He took it apart to begin to restore it, and then abandoned the project. The car is a perfect candidate for restoration and is more rust free than most I have seen. It is an original 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column. I was told the motor was rebuilt at some time and that it was running when parked, but I cannot verify that and have not tried to turn it over. It all looks complete but is not running. The fenders, doors, roof, trunk lid, and hood are all extremely straight and rust free from what I have seen. The doors open and close perfectly and the body lines are all really clean. The weather-strip channel in the trunk does not even have any rust and is extremely clean. The rear quarter panels have some rust in the bottom corners in front of and behind the rear wheels, but nothing extreme like most. The wheel wells themselves look pretty good, and the quarters are nice and straight. The passenger side had some body work started in the 80s that would need stripped but it feels solid overall. The front floor pans look original and very clean. The driver’s side has a small pinhole smaller than a dime by the gas pedal. Passenger side looks clean. The rear floors appear to have been replaced by the prior owner and look pretty good. The car does need a rear trunk pan. The metal all around the perimeter is clean and solid however, so welding in a new center would not be very difficult. Windshield has a few nicks. I have a ton of parts for the car! I would say it is about 95% complete and most of the trim looks straight. Everything pictured comes with the car.
The car comes with a bill of sale only. I have a Certificate of Fact from Washington State DMV stating that the vehicle is out of the system that will be included with the bill of sale. I bought the car from Washington State, and it has not been registered since 1983 and the title is missing. Most states only require a bill of sale to get a title for a car that is out of the system, so you would likely be able to get a title for it. The original cowl tag is there and the vin plate in the driver’s door is there as well.
I am selling this car with NO RESERVE, for much less than what I have into the car. It will sell to the highest bidder. Please only serious bidders! I am requiring a $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the closing bid to ensure serious bidders. Please ask all questions and view all pictures before bidding. You are more than welcome to set up a time to view the car. My number is (530) 906-1661. Thanks for looking! Below is a link to my Photobucket page with over 300 photos of the car!
