1974 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

This 1974 Corvette has been converted to a bubble window corvette. It has undergone many modifications and upgrades over the past three years I've owned it. Below are some of the more significant upgrades:
-Richmond 5-Speed Manual Transmission (less than 10,000 miles)-LT1 swap from a 1994 Corvette with painless 3-wire hookup harness-full sound system upgrade including amplifier and 10" sub-rear window louvers-80-82 style fiberglass rear bumper-rear spoiler-C5 leather seats-wide angle "wink" mirror-tow hitch (never actually been used but is installed)
Aside from that, the car has seen much of the following maintenance service done to it in the past 10,000 miles:SUSPENSION-new bushings on rear suspension (strut rods, leaf spring, trailing arm)-trailing arms were gone through and packed with grease-leaf spring upgrade-optional FE7 rear sway bar added with polyurethane bushings-newer front control arms with polyurethane bushings-upgraded front leaf spring suspension-Bilsteins shocks all around-VPB tie rods
DRIVETRAIN:-new clutch (less than 3,000 miles)-new u joints on driveshaft, and two half shafts-hurst quick shifter-crossmember upgraded to "bolt-on" for ease of access for future transmission maintenance-differential dropped, flushed, new seals and new oil
FUEL SYSTEM:-obviously the fuel injection is an upgrade in itself-gas tank dropped and cleaned-new rubber lines-new inline fuel filter-new electric fuel pump (in tank)
COOLING:-recored radiator-complete radiator flush-new water pump-new thermostat-C4 computer controlled electric fans and shroud-new radiator hoses
MISC:-new optispark distributor-less than 15,000 miles on tires-new brake lines (hard lines and rubber hoses)-new alternator-custom power steering line
The car runs and drives and I was able to take it on a three hour trip. I do believe that there are other areas of the car that can use some servicing. One of which would be the brake calipers as the return is a bit weak. The AC compressor is there but it is not hooked up. The power steering is there as well and is hooked up, but the pump's valve needs to be changed out to the older valve for the pump to generate enough pressure to move the hydraulic ram. The steering gearbox will need to be serviced. The engine can use a new oil pan gasket.
The frame is in good condition. No rust or weak metal of any sort. About the only thing it needs are new body mounts.
The car is a cross between a driver and a project but it is drivable. Please contact me if you have any questions beyond what the listing states. It is located in Livermore, CA
