1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Additional Info:
This 1968 Camaro RS/SS has been driven less than 400 miles driven since undergoing a nut and bolt restoration. The rare Corvette Bronze Exterior is impeccable with black striping and flawless brightwork. RS appearance in addition to rally wheels and front and rear spoilers give the impression of force as this car approached. This SS drives with an undeniably strong 396 375hp engine tied to a M21 Muncie 4-speed transmission. With a 4.11 12-bolt positraction rear end, this Camaro moves and handles tremendously well. 4 piston front brakes and power steering round out the performance of this car making it as capable as it is attractive. The custom interior provides black interior with bucket seats and center console with gauges and tic-toc-tac. The interior shows just as nice as the exterior making this a true showpiece.
The second year of the Camaro, the 1968 year model carried forward much of the styling from the cars debut just a year earlier. The front end added a more pointed grill while the rear received divided taillights. Astro Ventilation, a fresh air inlet system was added, which allowed the removal of the side vent windows. Several other small design changes were made to enhance performance and ride from the cars inaugural year. The SS performance package and RS appearance package continued to be offered in in '68, providing for one of the most comprehensive sports car offerings available that year.
