1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Tribute Additional Info:

This Z/28 tribute creates quite a stir when it rolls down the street. You won't see a color like this very often, and when you add the look of those big chrome wheels,... Wow! The color itself is Corvette bronze. It catches the light in a somewhat different way than most colors, and boy does it look good! A pencil thin chrome bumper leads the way. A black grill with two headlights sits above it and a big chin spoiler... reaches for the ground below it with fog lights in between. Bold black stripes are pushed up by the cowl induction hood as they head toward the windshield. Correct Z/28 badging adorns the grill, front fenders, and back of the car. The hood has a 302 emblem on it in recognition of the engines in the Trans Am cars of the day. The stripes pick back up on the trunk and run up and over the rear spoiler. Another thin chrome bumper along with a couple chrome exhaust tips complete the looks at the back, and the car sits on those awesome 18 and 20-inch Ridler wheels. Open the door and you are greeted by a nice black interior with splashes of chrome trim. A three-spoke dished steering wheel with a crossed flag center sits in front of a couple dash pods with the speedo and tach in them. Off to the right are the ventilation controls and below them is the Audiovox radio for your listening pleasure. A group of four critical engine gauges are set in the wood tone center console just in front of the Hurst shifter for the 4-speed trans. The front buckets are comfortable with pleated inserts and the back seats are trimmed out just as nicely as well. They both appear to have been replaced recently. A black headliner and black carpets complete the look of the interior. Pop the hood and you will find a 350 V8 that is show and go. A chrome air topper is held down with a Chevy emblem wing nut and sits on top of a 4bbl Edelbrock carb that handles the mixing duties. Then it flows into a polished manifold, and out through ceramic coated shorty headers. Chrome valve covers which are embossed with "Chevrolet" and also the bowtie, really shine and dress it up for the show too. Also adding some flash are the hood hinges, and the fender bracing rods. Power is sent back through the 4-speed trans to a chromed 12 bolt rear end sitting on chromed leaf springs. Show and go! Up front, disc brakes provide some whoa power to counter act the go power when needed, and the rubber meets the road through 245/40ZR18s in the front, and 275/30ZR20 in the rear mounted on those Ridler chromed wheels. Come on down and check this car out. You might decide to take it home and then out for a cruise down the boulevard one night.
