1960 Chevy Truck from out West. The truck is the heavy duty model for 1960 with the factor boxed frame and steel reinforced side door glass.I purchased this truckpartly disassemble and not runningwith lots of cardboard boxes of new parts. The truck has went thru various owners over 12-15 years no one has ever completed assembly ofthe truck and gotten it runningfor the road. I am told by one of theprevious owners that it has anew 350 crate engine and a rebuilt turbo 350 transmission and a new radiator. That I am not sure of(no paper work)but it looks like a new engine, radiator and trans engine has a large KEVKO aluminum oil pan,Holly street dominator intake,Holly carb, HEI Acel distributor and super coil, headers with dual exhaust,Aluminum water pump with speed master coggedbelt and pulleys for the pump and alternator.Power steering with late model steering box. Dropped spindles up front -dropped coil springs in the rear dropped shocks to accommodate the spindles and coils. Power Disc brakes up front drum brakes in the rear with a proportioningvalve. Front end has been aligned and inspected with no problems found. Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT that have 8/32 of tread which is what they come with new but they have a date code of 2005. That old of tiresshould be replaced. New chrome rear bumper,New tailgate, new chrome battery box. Interior was repainted with DuPont urethane gun metal gray metallic. Full gauge panel of Auto Meter gauges, floors and rockersare good looks like they were replaced years ago by a professional. Heater/defroster control has been rebuilt and all work, side vents work,New floor mat, new door gaskets and window cat whiskers, seat belts. The Sony cassette radio works perfect. The bed is done in Red Oak planks stained then sprayed with DuPont automotive clear coat. I have driven the truck about 400 miles since I put it together and it runs drives and shifts and stopsgreat. The push start bar removes with just two pins they were only used for a week out of the year. Its a decent truck. I would encourage you to have a appraiser look at the truck if you are interested. I would consider delivering it for expenses and a plane ticket back to WI. Not to LA or new York city I am more of a rural driver or I can store the truck until it is picked up. Truck is a faux of a Bonneville push start truck. I bought the truck because it was cool looking and as a project for something to do with no intention of keeping it. Clear Wi. title in my name.
