I know what you are thinking where in the heck does Street Dreams come up with all these cool trucks! Well partly because I love trucks which started when I was 2 or 3 my pappaw "Frenchie" and I would ride around on Sundays and look for trucks for sale. He had Bernard's truck sales in Keithville, La. I miss him for sure.
Back to the matter at hand we just took this baby on trade on a vintage Porsche' believe it or not. The story is the truck was one of the push trucks at the Pomona Race Way in California. The camper is a 1961 filled with incredible vintage race stickers that tell an incredible story for sure. We will do a little more research supposedly these surf boards are worth 4 or 5 grand, I need to call the guy back and get the details. The engine is equipped with two four barrels, a nice mild camshaft and a good sounding set of dual exhaust that exit like a 58 Impala out the side of the body. AC was added recently and a power front disc brake system. Of coarse the old American Racing torque thrust D wheels, louvered hood, moon eyes, old Sun tach, huge aluminum Moon gas pedal and of coarse the hot Hoola girl shakin on the dash set the 60's mood just right.Our featured Apache is cooler than the other side of the pillow.
