1994 Chevrolet Impala SS Additional Info:
Up for sale is a 1994 Chevrolet Impala SS painted SEM "Hot Rod Black." This is a real "WX3" Impala with clean Florida title car that has 52k original miles on it. This Impala SS has a fully built 396ci Stroker LT1 engine with 2 stage fogger nitrous setup. Their was no expense spared on this build. Car makes almost 800hp on the second stage of nitrous. This car was professionally built in 2006 by reputable builder and tuned by AtlantaChassis Dyno Inc. Engine has less than 1000 miles since build. I purchased the vehicle from a friend that only drove it twice a month. Since purchase, I have replaced spark plugs, ignition wires, serpentine belt, 140 amp alternator, fuel lines, optima battery, driveshaft, and rebuilt transmission. Vehicle has set (4) of impala stock wheels which are have brand new 275/40/17 in the front and new 275/40/17 Nitto 05R Drag Radials. Also included are two 15" Bogart Ultra-liteDrag Wheels with Mickey Thompson 28x10.5x15 Drag Slicks (tires need replacing). Engine is an LT1 that was originally a 5.7L 350ci and has been bored and stroked to a 6.6L 396ci. Transmission is a Turbo 400 professionallybuilt by ATF Speed in Davie, FL. Transmission is built for 1000hp and is manual valve body with transbrake. Transmission was also just rebuilt in January 2017 with SFI current bellhousing. Driveshaft is just replaced and is 3.5in steel built for 1000hp by Drivetrain Center in Stuart, FL. Torque Converter is 3500 stall 9 inch converter built by Neil Chance Racing Converter. Rear end is GM 8.5in with 4.10 gears and Detroit Tru Trac Posi. Full Hotchkis Suspension with Hotchkis Extended Rear Control Arms.
Vehicle interior is overall in good condition. Driver and Passenger door panels do have small hardly visible cracks due to age. Headliner is falling in front and needs replacement. Carpet has no tears but requires deep cleaning or replacement. Leather seat have no tear but do show signs of age slight cracking in leather. Upper and Lower Dash are perfect with no cracks. Vehicle does not have A/C. The compressor is removed and replaced with a delete pulley. A/C evaporator core, lines, and other parts are still intact if buyer chooses to reinstall A/C.
Car has ONE OF A KIND feature not like many other cars. Passenger Airbag has been removed and replaced with secret compartment. This was orginally to be used to hide nitrous controller and sneaky pete stealth nitrous setup before 2 stage setup was installed. Compartment is power opening and closing and works with pressing two secret buttons. (new buyer will be told buttons to press)
Vehicle runs well, motor is very strong. Motor does have big cam and sounds great. Car is a real head turner and gets a lot of attention. I have never raced the car and only used it for shows. Any buyer intending on using the nitrous should rebuild the nitrous solenoids or replace them before using the nitrous system for anything but purge system.
