1966 Chevrolet Impala SS L35 396ci 325hp w/ PS, PB, Turbo 400 A/T, 12 Bolt Differential & Air Conditioning !!

Get ready for cruising the boulevard or going to the car shows with this beautiful "full frame off restored" Impala SS 396 Coupe.
Looking good in its factory correct Maderia Maroon Poly, this car is ready to roll. The smooth body lines start with a slight angle back at the leading edge of the front fenders and flare out a bit as they flow up and over the rear fenders. Crossed racing flags with 396 Turbo Jet as well as Super Sport in script appear on the front fenders. A stylish chrome grill holds quad headlights and a Chevrolet Impala SS badge underlined by a sharp looking chrome bumper. A line of chrome trim looks great running down the full length of the car and the wheel wells and rocker panels also get dressed out in chrome. The large trunk has plenty of room for lots of luggage, so go ahead, load up and head out with this car.
Open the door and you will find an interior that is dressed out in the perfect balance of white seats headliner and interior panels, with new thick black carpeting, chrome and brushed metal. The door panels have a long armrest with manual windows and a slash of chrome across the bottom. The black two-spoke steering wheel has a semi-circular chrome horn ring and a leaping Impala center button. This car features a replacement General Motors AM/FM stereo cassette player. A rectangular speedometer is set deep under the shroud of the black dash keeping the sun off of it nicely while accessory controls are set in a brushed metal panel trimmed in chrome that runs from side to side. The ventilation controls in the center console include heating, window defrost and the essential air conditioning. The T-handle shifter rises up from a long Custom Aluminum SS Center Console which houses four (4) white VDO gauges. The White Strato-bucket front seats are comfortable and the interior has Dynamat sound deadening and is finished off with new SS emblemed black carpeted floor mats.

Pop the hood and you will find a rare treat in a real numbers matching, L35 Big Block 396ci / 325hp engine which was completely rebuilt. Custom engine parts include a New Holley Aluminum HP Manifold, Holley 750 DP Carburetor, Mickey Thompson Aluminum Valve Covers, Deep Dish Aluminum Transmission Pan, HID Ignition, Braided Stainless Steel Fuel System with Chrome Pressure Gauge, Headman Ceramic Coated Headers, Custom Three (3) Inch Flow Master Dual Exhaust, GM Chrome Air Cleaner, Chrome Alternator and Belt Pulleys, New Hotchkis and Corvette Front Suspension with 72 Corvette Front Spindles, Oversize Corvette Disc Brakes and a New AC Delco HD Battery. Everything is neat and clean and properly routed including the air conditioning lines. Power flows back through the factory 3-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission to the Factory 12 Bolt Rear Differential w/Chrome Cover. All New Rear Suspension including Springs, Shocks and Sway Bar. It also has New Rear Disc Brakes, New Gas Tank, Matching GM Chrome Wheel and Spare Tire with an Impala SS insulated truck pad.Note: The cowl tag was removed during an earlier restoration and the odometer reads 7,249 which is not the actual mileage. You can't buy one, complete a full frame off restoration and customize it like this for the asking price.
