1986 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Early 1986 Corvette with factory performance options and only 145,000 well cared for miles (It is a 31 year old car). Garaged most of its life, but that didn't stop the clear coat from failing - typical GM for that era - needs paint.
Removable top panel, canvas car cover - possible other extras included - depending. Starts, runs, drives, stops - a daily driver in the summer (a garage queen in the winter). Dependable and reliable: no major known mechanical issues. I would not hesitate to drive it on an extended road trip.
Retired factory trained GM mechanic owned for the past 8 years, I have probably spent more time working on it than driving it. New front suspension, new front and rear brakes, electric cooling fan over ride switches for keeping it cool during parades/cruise-ins. All original (engine, trans, etc). Could use a very minor restoration (faded carpet, cracked windshield, original paint).
Always owned and driven by older gentlemen who appreciated the fine handling and performance, but never 'hot rodded' it. That is unfortunate because this machine came equipped with extra factory performance options and has waited its entire life for an owner who will unleash its awesome potential and drive it as it was intended to be driven. Increasing in value every year, this all original 'early' 86 Corvette is an investment that will NEVER be worth less than it is today!
