1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe Project

1941 Cadillac Series 62 Additional Info:

This 1941 Series 62 was bought as a non-running donor car for a very special 1939 series 61 project. Nothing was removed as all the needed parts were different. We did get the car running with very little work and it has been driven only around the shop and on our own property. It is being sold as a project since it is not complete and has not been safety inspected and test driven.
The car is being sold as-is with no warranty. It will need to be completely inspected and may require mechanical work before it is safe/reliable to drive. The car looks decent in photos but could also use significant cosmetic work It appears the engine and automatic transmission may have been overhauled at some point. The engine starts right up and sounds good. The trans works but there is some noise that may be linkage related when shifting into reverse. A short Video of the car being driven can be provided on request. Most all gauges and lights function with the exception of the fuel gauge. Parts known to be missing include the air cleaner ass, radio, and both inner door panels and possible parts of the window regulators. The are a lot of loose parts in the trunk that are all included. The car is available for inspection in Mountain Ranch Cal approx 1+1/2 hours southeast of Sacramento.
