This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe is beautifully restored and is a multiple show winner and tour veteran. This CCCA Full Classic underwent a frame-off restoration in the mid-1990s and won its AACA Senior National First Prize in 1995. The restoration is in beautiful condition and the Cadillac is still being toured and shown. In 2022, the Cadillac earned 2nd in-class and received the Jerry Hanauska Memorial Award in the Forrest Grove Concours dElegance. Also in 2022, this Series 62 completed approximately 1,700 trouble-free miles in the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic and completed the Pebble Beach Tour dElegance. It has also received awards in numerous Northwest CCCA and Desert CCCA events. With its beautiful color combination, award winning history and the well-maintained history, this Cadillac would make a wonderful centerpiece of any automotive collection. This Cadillac Convertible Coupe underwent a complete frame-off restoration in the mid-1990s. It was acquired by Hyman Ltd located in Saint Louis, MO in June of 2013. By June of 2018, Steven Schultz in Chicago, IL acquired the Cadillac and by 2021 it was acquired by the current owner, CCCA Master Judge and Concours Judge throughout the US and Canada, restorer and collector Kim Pierce of Scottsdale, AZ. Mr. Pierce is well-known for the care and maintenance of his collection and this Cadillac is certainly no exception. Mr. Pierce has toured and shown the Cadillac winning numerous awards in Northwest CCCA and Desert CCCA events. This stunning Cadillac is ready to be toured and shown. The gorgeous and streamlined Fischer-bodied torpedo style C-body was designed by legendary GM designer, Harley Earl. The elimination of running boards and a more sloped windshield are some of the reasons the Series 62 Cadillacs are very popular among Cadillac collectors. The stunning livery of this Series 62 Cadillac is a gorgeous Oceano Blue Metallic (Code 63). The paint is in excellent overall condition with excellent shine and luster. The few paint imperfections are only detectable upon close inspection. The blue metallic paint is beautifully complemented by the tan cloth power convertible soft top and tan cloth top boot. Both are in very nice condition and the automatic convertible top functions as designed. The chrome, bright work and emblems are all in very nice condition showing few imperfections. The grill is graced with the 1995 AACA Senior National First Prize badge and the passenger side displays its CCCA National Competition First Prize Winner badge. The recent powder coated red steel wheels are a beautiful accent with correct chrome wheel covers and wrapped in newer wide whitewall radials. The undercarriage is beautifully detailed and shows very well throughout. The overall livery of this beautiful Cadillac shows very well and is evident by the recent tour and show history. The interior is beautifully finished in soft and supple tan leather and shows very well throughout. The dash and gauges are all in very nice condition and function as designed with the exception of the clock. The steering wheel was beautifully restored in 2023 and looks stunning. The tan wool carpet and matching floor mats show well. The interior is a wonderful complement to the metallic blue livery and shows beautifully throughout. The trunk is very well finished and detailed and includes a matching red powder coated steel wheel and a wide whitewall bias-ply spare tire. The engine compartment is home to the 346 ci L-Head V-8 motor which produces 135 hp and is paired with a 3-speed selective synchromesh manual transmission. The motor runs and performs well and the transmission shifts smoothly and operates quietly. The Cadillac was fully serviced in 2022 including all fluids drained and replaced. In 2023, the battery, electric fuel pump, filter and switch were all replaced. The engine compartment is very well detailed and painted and is show and tour ready. This gorgeous 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe is a beautiful example and would be a wonderful addition to any American automotive collection.
