1941 Cadillac Convertible
You are viewing an exceptional and high quality body off build designed to hit the road. The car was finished in 2015 with approximately 3K miles driven since finished. The car has been owned since 1980.
Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint: All steel and metal finished with little mud used prior to paint and very straight. Paint is PPG base/clear Monica Blue metallic, which is an original 41 Cad color. Color sanded and cut and buffed. Very nice finish and shows well. Finished skirts come with the car.
Interior: The interior is primarily stock with the exception of high quality soft vinyl used with original pattern and added seat belts. Heat only, no AC. Radio that works, push button start as original, beautiful stock dash and restored gauges.
Top: Beautiful tan Hart’s cloth with glass window. Frame is completely restored and beautiful.
Running Gear: 61 Cad 390 rebuilt to 9 to 1 compression and stock with correct early AFB carb and intake. Point distributor, one wire alternator, converted to 12 volt. Trans is a TH 400 with shift kit restored, 64 case that bolts right up with factory adaptor. Rear end is stock with 3.08 gears, open. Great cruising gears and gets 20 MPG on the hiway at 60. Car drives very nice at 70 plus on the freeway.
Suspension: Stock restored frame and front and rear suspension except air shocks added to the rear. Rides really nice.
Bright work: All restored and replated. Really nice and show well.
Glass: New and tinted.
Exhaust: Dueled with Turbo style mufflers. Sounds nice but quit on the road.
Brakes: Stock drums and MC. With upgraded guts from 55 Cad.
Wheels/Tires: Stock wheels reversed and chromed with caps. Coker classic radials 225/75 R 15. Lots of rubber
Summary: This car is a great cruiser that gets good gas mileage and turns heads. They are rare and with the upgraded running gears the car is very powerful and pulls strong. Great running and riding car. I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. This is a six figure build so don’t miss out on this exceptional Bel Air. Great value and a quality car for the money.
