1955 Cadillac series 62 Mild Kustom

1955 Cadillac DeVille 62 delete Additional Info:

• Up for sale is my 1955 series 62 Cadillac known as the Shindig Caddy and you will be Hard pressed to find a nicer one
• It was fixed up like a Mild Kustom in the Day
• Paint on the Caddy is a Slick brilliant ppg red known as Solar red
• Motor is original 331 Caddy not sure the Mileage or if its been rebuilt
• The Motor is Backed by a Rebuilt 700r4 with overdrive a Wilco adapterand Mini Starter this was done spring of 17
• Interior was redone in Black, Red Painted surfaces and Mostly Gray with Black Carpet
• Trunk is also Finished out like the Interior with Gray Panels and Spare tire cover and Black Carpet
• The Car was a Radio Delete car there is no Radio only a Delete Panel
• There is No Air conditioningand Roll Up windows
• Just Since spring of 17 i had the 700r4 Trans done by a Professional shop it probably has less than 2500 miles on it if that
• Changed the Rear springs to 2" drop Springs and added new bushings and Shocks
• Changed The Front springs to 2" Drop springs and added New sway bar Bushings and new shocks
• Changed to new power steering gear box and hoses
• Changed to rebuilt Brake Booster Master cylinder
• Changed Carb and Base plate to mechanical edelbrock 650
• Changed the Generator to a new one
• Changed the distributor electronics to Pertronics
• Just last week Changed all the Bearings and races in the front Brake drums she Rolls Great
• Added an New Chrome cleaner
• Just had the side glass windows Fixed they were falling down in the tracks
• just had new Mufflers installed she is Quiet it runs all the way to the back where i added 50 cal Machine gun tail pipes the real shindiggers
• With the 2" drop it lowered it enough statically it still has that awesome Cadillacride
• This car Runs and Drives like a Cadillac and a Dream it is a driver so its not perfect but it is close
• I added Dummy spot lights
• I added 3" Coker radial whitewall tire still lots of life on them the fronts showed a little inside wear but i just rotated them to the back
• I added the 57 caddy 15" Hub Caps with bulletcenters
• I added the 50 cal Machine gun Exhaust tips
• Since the emblems were all deleted there is a Trunk inside pop switch left side inside kick panel
• Spacious Trunk you could get 6 people in there ok or better yet 10x10 canopy, 4 chairs, 2 suit cases, full size cooler, tool box, and a Mini Bike with room to spare
• The Interior is overall very nice and roomy for a big person im 6'3" 300 lbs and its comfy and it travels well with 4 people
• The car runs and Drives great especially since i put the Electronic ignition in it it will run down the highway at 90 mph no problem
• This car Turns heads and Gets attention no matter where you are its never been featured but has been in several magazines
• Its won many awards including the Beatersville show.
• The Car Seems to be Rust free underneath looks great no floor pan holes etc it started life and like in Oklahoma and appears and still is Garage kept.
• Car is Located in Southern Indiana i would not hesitate to sell to overseas buyer.
• If you wanted you could fly in and drive home it drives like a dream or a Cadillac

• As i layed out above these are the things i see need to be fixed to be perfect but keep in mind it is a Driver ive only traileredit to very far away shows just like anything it needs a little TLC Its time for someone else to have a Blast in it like we did.
• It has some paint defects down low where its scraped on the inside of the trailer i have fixed the chips with touchup paint so you cannot hardly see them
• The car does smoke a Bit and uses oil the timing cover leak coupledwith the blow by tube needs some TLC
• The lights work on High beams but if you hit the low beam switch on the floor they will go out completely
• Bumpers look great from a distance they are not dented but do show some Hazing when you look closely in my opinion it takes great pictures but to be perfect they would need re chroming there again im being real picky
• All trim is very nice there are a Couple of spots where the trim has some dented area there again im being picky
• On the trunk between the bottom lip of trunk lid and the Bumper the Paint is Hazy in that area from the Factory there is quite a Bit of Lead work that make the paint look Hazy there again im being real picky
• Speedo does not work
