1950 Cadillac DeVille Additional Info:
1950 Cadillac Series 62. This is a project car. Engine is currently disassembled, and only the bottom end is still in the car. Engine was disassembled years ago due to a blown head gasket, and was left exposed to the elements. Bottom end is locked up. All removed components are included including hardware. Car is complete and not missing anything. Left rear wing window is cracked but intact, and the left side reverse lens is broken. Floors and frame are extremely solid, including trunk. I have removed the carpet so it would not hold moisture. It is faded and in poor condition, but can be included. This particular vehicle has no power options. No power windows, locks, seats, steering or brakes. Tires are Coker bias ply wide whitewalls. All 4 original sombrero hubcaps are included. It needs brake work. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and rubber lines are included. Shoes and hardware appeared to be in good condition. Body is fair to rough. There are signs of old filler work, some cracking, some rust. Paint has some rough and dull areas, with rust pop throughs and bubbles. Trim is all there, but there are dented, damaged and some pieces are rusted through.
I will include all of the engine compartment pieces that I have including an entire box of tune up parts.
I love this car and would love to see the project completed. It has been sitting in my driveway for two years, and I hate to see the condition continue to deteriorate. I don't feel this is a good candidate for restoration, but I had planned a diesel powered rat rod on air suspension.
Feel free to ask questions. I have a clear title in hand. The car rolls freely and is easily accessible for pick up on a car trailer or rollback.
