“This is a super-clean 1989 Buick Riviera Coupe in excellent condition and an outstanding example of late-1980s luxury and technology. The Riviera was far ahead of its time, featuring a fully digital dash and onboard computer with a touchscreen interface that allows the driver to control powered systems and monitor MPG, fluid levels, temperatures, RPMs, and more—all of which are fully functional. The car’s history is well-documented and known. The original owner sold it to my father in 1991 with just 21,000 miles. After retiring, he drove it cross-country and then only sparingly on sunny summer days for several years. I inherited the car in 2017 when he was no longer able to drive. Since then, it has continued to be garage-kept under a cover and meticulously maintained. All service and ownership records are included. The exterior retains its original paint, with only one or two minor professional touch-ups. The paint presents very well. Glass and light lenses are clear with no cracks, and all lights and signals function properly. Weatherstripping is in excellent condition. The stock wheels are in excellent shape. Tires have good tread and are not dry-rotted, though they are older than ideal. There is one minor chip on the rear taillight. The interior is outstanding and completely original. The carpet is spotless, and original Riviera floor mats are included. The headliner is clean and tight. This has always been a non-smoking vehicle with no odors. The dash is in excellent condition with no peeling or fading. The digital dash and touchscreen onboard computer are fully functional, controlling climate, radio, calendar, engine gauges, and fluid monitoring. The odometer reads 69,080 miles, which is accurate and supported by the known history. A/C blows cold, heat and fan work properly, and all dash and interior lights function as they should. Cruise control, wipers, windows, power mirrors, power locks, and power trunk release are all fully operational. The car runs beautifully and purrs like a kitten. The transmission operates smoothly with no issues. The engine does not burn or leak oil. Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles or sooner using synthetic oil. New anti-lock brakes have been installed. Aftermarket fog lights were added. Overall, this Riviera is an exceptionally well-preserved, well-documented example that truly represents Buick luxury from the late 1980s. It’s getting harder and harder to find cars like this in such honest, original, and cared-for condition.”
