Here is our 1970 Buick Electra 225 Convertible in good running condition. It has been garaged and covered the past 17 years that I have owned it. We drive it in parades, car shows, trips to the Sonic drive in, and in the local neighborhoods just for the fun of it. The top is fully functional, and includes the boot and landau cover we had made for it. It will keep the rain out in an emergency, but the side seams are starting to come apart.
The car is available to see, drive, and purchase in Choctaw, Oklahoma (just east, a suburb of Oklahoma City.
There is a full size spare tire, boxes of parts I've acquired over the years, 4 bottles of lead additive, and jack and stand.
It has both fender skirts, bumpers, and all the side trim. It's missing the Buick Decal in the middle of the front hood (I've never seen one!).
We put a CD player am/fm radio under the dash, and have the antenna connected to it. There is an AM radio in the dash that should work. Previous owner had cut out a spot and had an 8 track player in there, but it was inoperative so we removed it and found an AM radio that should be more "correct".
The top is white also to go along with the white exterior. It had been repainted (same color) by the previous owner as you can find a couple of paint runs on the side, but that was over 17 years ago.
All four power windows work, power top works great both up and down.
The blinkers work in one direction, but do not release once the corner has been completed.
Any questions, please ask. I know I'm forgetting stuff!
We are downsizing and moving, so the big toys have to go. The Vanity licenseplate is "OL WINDY".
