1970 Buick Skylark Convertible MORE PHOTOS I have owned this car for 13 years. The odometer reads 30,900 . Most likely it is 130,900 original miles. I have put about 4-5,000 mile on the car in the last 13 years and it has been very reliable. Always starts right up and has never broken down. From what I know it is all original except for the paint color. Currently Cragar rims are on the car, but I have the original factory wheels that are in great shape Details - - Original 350 Engine
- Automatic on the Column Shift
- Pearl White interior
- AM/FM CD Player
- Power White Convertible Top with Boot
- Back Glass Window
- Non working factory AC
- 2 sets of wheels - Factory rims and Cragar SS
- BF Goodrick TA Radials
The Good - - This car is Turn Key. There is some room for improvement if you want a show car, but as it sits, It looks great and needs nothing to get out and have a good time.
- A real head turner, Gorgeous Sky Blue with White interior and top
- Body is STRAIGHT, no wrecks, no body work, all original metal
- Reliable - I have never broken down in this car nor had any serious issues. Only regular maintenance has been done
- Drives beautifully - Drives great and sounds even better. Flowmaster or similiar sounding exhaust. Not too loud, just a nice deep sound
- Updated stereo with CD player
- Glass rear window
- Tires have lots of life left
The Bad - - a few scratches from being stored in my garage and accidentally scratching it.
- a very small ding right on the nose, also happened in my garage, something fell on it
- the Cragars have some pitting in the corners of the wells, but presentable as is. BUT, I do have the original factory rims if you want the stock look
- The AC was working 13 years ago. I never once used it. I currently does not work, not sure if freon escaped or something else. I brought the car in a while back and the mechanic said it would be cheaper to convert to the new AC than buy old freon, so I left it at that
- The AC fan control is loose on one side from the dash, you can see a small gap
- The pearl white interior has some discoloration from sun and age, mostly on the back bench seat
- The carpet is good, but has wear on the hump
- A couple bubbles on the back deck below convertible top
- a small rust area at passenger door corner
- Maybe a drop or two of fluid and oil leak if not moved for a long time. Nothing unusual
- The car pulls a little to the left when your first apply the brakes but then straightens out
All and all a very nice car with very only minor issues for its age Car is sold as is and the condition stated is to the best of my knowledge. Potential buyers are encouraged to come see the car first The car is located in Canton Georgia about 40 miles north of downtown Atlanta MORE PHOTOS | | |
