1967 BMW 2002 Additional Info:
Note that the water under the car was from a fresh install of a water pump, the engine is not leaking anything.
I bought it from a guy that had stored it for years and years after a restoration. The car was originally Sahara and is now painted red, the paint job is nice and it was a complete carpet/window out paint job, the engine bay and under the carpet is even red.
It has new
- Water Pump
- Thermostat
- Carpet
- Weber Carb
- New oil
- Cleaned and working radiator
- Transmission mount
- New plugs
- Fresh tune
It is a nice clean car, there is light rust here and there as older BMWs get. The trunk lid paint is starting to crack a little. The rockers and wheel wells have no rust.
I installed a clean working radiator out of a 74, the old one was clogged.
Things that need attention
- The gauge cluster is warn and the speedo/clock do not work
- Brakes leaking a little, but have not found the source
- Headliner has some holes
I am a '02 guy, I have owned 7 of them and this is a nice one, it is very fast and light. With a little tinkering this would make an awesome car that is a great investment.
I have a clean title in hand.
There are no spare parts, there is no paperwork except a clean title and I really don't have any history on the car.
The car will be in Monterey this week if you want to see it. If you purchase the car, please note that it will be in Monterey until the 22nd so it will need to be picked up there. LUCKLY there are LOTS of trucks hauling out cars and they will be able to pick it up right then. Use Central Dispatch or USHIP.com
