’72 BMW tii, One-owner from new, just pulled from a barn/shed. Car was purchased new in Charlotte at Performance Cars, Ltd, has spent its entire life in and around Raleigh. Owner was an engineer, and was Sales Manager at Miller & Norburn, the BMW Alpina specialists, in the mid 70’s. He then owned an automotive accessories and art business for nearly 40 years. A true enthusiast!
The Campagnolo wheels are NOT included in this sale. They are not available for sale separately. Car will roll to its’ new home on a set of appropriately date-coded, freshly powder-coated steel wheels and a new set of tires, as seen in the first pics.
This car was involved in an accident in 1995, where it was hit in the right rear, pushing the car into another ahead of it. There is obvious damage from the accident. Car was being driven daily until this wreck. Car was put into storage with the intent of a restoration, but that was not to be.
Car is complete, and has over 200,000 miles on it. I knew the owner, and the car since 1979, and I know that it was truly loved!
