1974 BMW 2002 Automatic Additional Info:
When I purchased this 2002A 15+ years ago, I drove it to this location in my back yard. The car ran poorly and the ZF automatic transmission was "slippy." BMW's from '72-76 had tinted windows. The body is in "pretty good" shape, but when last painted, the body work performed was "cheap as possible." I have restored several '02's: a '68 1600, a '72 and '76 2002. Pretty sure I have front and rear bumpers for it. Many more pictures are available, so just ask! Depending on how good the DIY person is at body work would determine whether to restore or part out. The car is not presently driveable. I do not have title since it was purchased "as is." I "think" all that is wrong with the engine is no fuel pump. It had an electric aftermarket pump, which I "borrowed" for another car. Needless to say this car is more rare than a tii, but not the 99.9% common 4 speed manual. Nonetheless, with AC, power brakes, tinted windows and Automatic Transmission, this bimmer will be a crowd gatherer at any BMW event!
