1976 BMW 2002 Additional Info:

This 2002 is in great all-around condition, staying original as much as possible with a few highly desired additions - cold air conditioning, 5 speed transmission, upgraded radio unit with Bluetooth and more. Most importantly, it has no rust (I can’t find any and neither could BMW certified mechanics when on lift) As you can see from the pictures, it has an amazing paint job and turns heads wherever you go. I spent 6k on the engine this year, not that there were many issues, but I wanted to feel comfortable driving across country if desired. The engine work was done by a BMW shop that specializes in older BMW’s. After engine work was complete, I was told by the owner who started specializing in 2002’s 20+ years ago, that this was one of the nicest he had ever seen and the restoration was first class. My first BMW was a rusted out 2002, purchased in the 80’s. My dream was always to get another one in top condition. This has been kept in almost original condition. It has nicely painted bumper (removable if not your taste). You have to see in person to see the amazing paint job that was performed several years back. It has always been covered in my garage. As far as issues, there aren’t many. A very fixable seat tear, which is covered by the car seat covers. 53,700 miles but I don’t know true mileage. Just put on new tires and battery this year. Everything else appears almost new. So buy this and take it to a show, drive cross country or just get around town. The next owner will be lucky - I am selling this because my daughter starts driving next month and this one needs to reluctantly go. I am not a gear head and had professionals work on it so ask questions and I will do my best to answer.
