Grey in color, runs and drives well, has a Callaway turbo system that was installed in the 80s and very recently rebuilt. She's much faster than stock... lot of pull. The body is in good condition with no rust to be found. Suspension is tight and rides well, Bilstein/Koni shocks and struts, lowering springs and sway bars have been installed. Brakes work well and don't shake or shudder when stopping. Interior is in good shape considering its age, but still has it’s problems, sheepskin covers hiding some tears in the front seats.
I bought this car with the intention of fixing it up a bit... bigger wheels, some suspension work... dialing it in. This car has a lot of potential, and rare with the turbo system that is period correct, and complete. It’s been a fun car to drive (much faster than stock), but time and other project force sale.
Great:
Original Callaway turbo kit installed including water injection
Rebuilt Garrett t-4 turbo (bearings and seals)
Boost and oil pressure gauges installed on dash
New external waste gate, running 6 psi
Pulls strong throughout rpm range
Bilstein/Koni shocks and struts
Lowering springs
Aftermarket sway bars
Sunroof
Not great:
Paint worn (old respray)
Work needs to be done on the exhaust (some leaks)
Misc. interior bits
Window issues, rears work intermittently
Some door locks sticky
Driver door catch temperamental
Leather seats have tears
Starter misses occasionally
This car has a clean and open title. It was never registered in my name but has valid tags until 11/17. It comes with a signed title and bill of sale from the titled owner.
Deposit is a non-refundable $1000
That's about it. She's a solid car with a boatload of potential. I'd really like to see her all fixed up but I simply don't have the time to do it myself. I'll be sorry to see her go.
Lastly, I've had this car up for auction twice now and both times, the winning bidder has irresponsibly placed a bid they were not able to pay. Please, consider the car carefully and be respectful of one's time and effort. This car deserves to go to a good home, one that's going to finish fixing her up and make her great. Please, only bid if you're planning to buy. Thank you.
