1962 AMC AMX

Miss American is an unrestored original, with 139,000 miles on her. Several nice accessories such as - dash mounted clock, tissue dispenser, wheel spinners, beauty rings, floor mat, 3 different gas caps, factory AC and more. Tires have less than 1,000 miles. Paint, glass, interior (door panels have a little character), chrome, engine, etc., are origanal. Full disclosure of what she needs: brake light switch, horn needs to be reconnected at steering wheel, gear shifter needs adjustment to start in Park sometimes (just move it to the left or start in neutral), small oil pan leak. Engine (hasn't had a tune-up in 5 years), may be a small crack in exhaust manifold, transmission, rear end, steering and breaks all good but all should be inspected. Small dent on passenger side, rear wheel, and a couple of scratches on the driver's side done by the original owner (1962-2001). I would take her on a 50 + mile trip right now and not think twice about it. I don't have to sell, don't really want to, but I'm 76 now and it's time she had a new home.
