1969 AMC Javelin Additional Info:

68,000 actual miles. It has power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, a 343 and a 4 speed, running and driving well.Rebuilt title. Idk why, all I know is it became a rebuilt title car 30+ years ago, in the '90's. It has already been fixed and inspected in the 90's and issued a rebuilt title. Paper Arizona title in hand. Can be registered and insured in any state.Hard to find another first gen1968-1970Javelin with a 4 speed manual transmission for sale in any condition anywhere in the country, let alone running and driving well, that has had a lot of money put into it. The manual trans ones are just not out there for sale. Not your run of the mill Javelin or stock 305 Camaro or 302 Mustang. Built 343ci. This thing rips and has pretty sharp and responsive handling which makes it very fun to drive. Feels/turns and handles like the light weight, high powered coupe that it is. Break into the old Irwindale Speedway Thursday nights and shake the earth.1969 AMC Javelin with an original steel 1970 hood 1970 fender extensions and 1970 front bumper. A popular, rare, expensive conversion that many AMC guys do to get the better 1970 induction hood. Still has many of the rare cold air induction parts inside the hood. (people ask $2900 + tax + shipping for just a 1970 ram air javelin hood like this).Power steeringPower brakesfront disc brakesoriginally an A/C car (not complete anymore)4 speed manual transrear posi Dana 20 3.15 gears343ci V8Crane Cam 864441Roller rockersAluminum intakeHeadersSlot mag wheels $$ram air steel 1970 hood $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$Runs and drives well. Black paint could use paint work, the clear coat is peeling on the roof and on the tops of the fenders. Could use all new interior. The tail lights have cracks.Priced accordingly. I have new black carpet and some pretty nice used rear inner door panels still in the boxes, that will come with the car. Fast car. Very fun to drive.Recent upgrades since I've owned it:StarterAlternatorHeaders $$New Fuel tank ($690 + tax/shipping/install, so $1,000+)Full exhaust $1200+Front brake padsNew summit 600 carb ($400+)both windows repaired so they roll and stay on track, with the solid window track repair kit that AMC guys use.Tires are good with very high tread remaining (LH rear tire has a sidewall bulge though)I might be able to meet up with you in Scottsdale (about 9 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, if you want, instead of Payson) to give you the car.Cash or cashiers check only. Full payment due within 3 calendar days. $500 deposit is non-refundable. Car will not be released to you until cashiers check fully clears my back, if you're paying with a cashiers check. There are a lot of nice javelins that have been recently done by big name people:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8lA1hcqSy8https://www.conceptcarz.com/s7379/amc-javelin.aspxhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-7_l9q9F8Ahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8lA1hcqSy8https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/style/a16569265/theres-an-outrageous-amount-of-custom-work-on-ringbrothers-amc-javelin/AMC parts sites:https://www.americanpartsdepot.com/http://americanpartsdepot.net/amxjavelinindex.htmhttps://www.amclives.com/collections/1968-74-javelin
