1969 AMC Javelin Javelin Additional Info:
Great Lakes Classic CarsProudly Presents1969 AMC ‘American Motor Company’JAVELIN 343ci Typhoon High Compression V-84-Speed Manual TransmissionRare Find as is a Great Looking entry into the ever popular Pony Muscle MarketThis particular Javelin leaves very little to the imagination as it still sports its Original 343ci Typhoon V8 as well as door data tag (never removed – still has original Rosette Rivets)…Finished in brilliant Hunter Green Iridescent as was intended when born this little Pony stands tall and deserves respect. AMCs have always been known for their muscular sporty presence and this little guy is no exception.Sharp Lines, Twin Hood Scoops, and Rear Spoiler add to the overall no non-sense and here to play presence on or off the streets or track. The AMCs like most pony cars of the era were well known for their prowess on the track as Trans Am Racers. Many of which were idolized and became cult favorites still to this day.Under hood you will find a very factory stock in appearance engine with its correct snorkeled air cleaner, windshield cleaner bag, stickers, and etc… The biggest perk being the 343ci breathes through dual exhaust and is mated to a 4-speed transmission… This spells capitalized “F-U-N!”The javelin has straight body lines and is a solid vehicle throughout, though it has been restored quite sometime ago it still shows extremely well and has plenty of shine at any angle. Doors, hood, and trunk lids open and shut without shudder or reverb, a simple testament of how solid and well kept the car is overall.Interior is just as nice as exterior with clean appearance and vinyl seats free of splits or tears. Carpeting looks good and has no noticeable damage or fading. Dash is also in good shape. The Javelin is equipped with Road Wheels, Trim Rings, and Center Cones wrapped in Raised White letter Tires.Previous Owner must have enjoyed the races as he or she favored applying the ‘Mark Donahue’ lettering on the rear of the Spoiler. It looked good then as it does now so we didn’t see the need to remove it.Good Clean history on this car traced to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, then New York and now offered to you. We have Owner’s Manual, Keystone Auto Club Documents, and Some Insurance Papers.Bid with confidence on this well kept and desirable AMC.Take it on cruise nights and shows and stand out with something different.
