1971 Alfa 1750 GTV
Vehicle Details
1971 Alfa 1750 GTV requiring extensive restoration. Great project for someone with more time and skills than me !
Looks good in the pictures but it is rough in places and generally poor condition.
Not original color. Repainted countless times and needs extensive restoration. Something, I am unfortunately not able to commit to.
Bodywork shows signs of body filler and there is rust in doors, floors, pillars, rockers, fenders and elsewhere. Rusted floors look to be going to hole in places.
With the Front slash guards removed you can see extensive corrosion at the A-Pillar and down inside the multi layered rockers.
Oil leaks around engine, trans and diff. Worn out suspension and steering components.
Small tear in drivers seat, stained and discolored headlining, dash topper and wobbly drivers seat.
Engine has good compression and pulls strongly. Carbs need tuning and overhauling.
Clutch worn and biting at very top of travel. Some crunching at times so likely also synchro wear.
Best bits are the Alfaholics wheels and tires which I bought thinking I was going to restore the car (originals will be included also).
Recently had oil, plugs and filter service and I have a long list of things done during my ownership.
MA Title. Sold as seen.
