1984 Alfa Romeo GTV Additional Info:
I’m representing this very nice two owner 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 for a friend and fellow Alfa enthusiast. As an ex Alfa dealer and owner of more transaxle Alfa’s than I can recall, I’m representing both the buyer and seller to insure a clean transaction. This California/Georgia car has 215000 documented miles and has no rust, corrosion or collisions. The timing belt and water pump were replaced around 200000 miles. Auto Veloce in Miami FL recently replaced 1st and 2nd gear synchro’s, DeDion bushing, driveshaft center flex joint, clutch slave and hose, adjusted the valves and oil change. It starts immediately with zero valve noise or smoke. I test drove it on a hot Atlanta GA day with the AC on without any issues. Everything works. The car looks great with mostly original paint (never wrecked). The paint has patina (chips, burns and dings) on close inspection. The seats have been reupholstered with a nice imitation leather. The original dash has no cracks. Here is a list of noteworthy details that I observed. BODY - The only repaired "damage" was a trivial dent on the drivers rear quarter panel directly on the side marker light (that is cracked and still on the car). It's also had paint work on the front and roof, but much of the paint is original. There are several minor dings on the passenger side. It has a Milano (incorrect) gas cap. The lower sides have also been painted. The color is darker than the original dark gray. INTERIOR - The car was rarely driven with passengers. As a result, all of the passengers carpet is excellent. The drivers area carpet has a patch panel glued at the area closest to the seat. Also, the floor mat covers a hole in the carpe, just below the pedals. The headliner is in very good condition. The plastic sunroof handle bezel needs to be dyed white. ENGINE COMPARTMENT - No rust or corrosion. The hood insulation has been patched (like the drivers carpet area). The hood prop plastic catch is broken, from being opened too far. TRUNK - is very tidy and clean. The original tool kit case has a broken latch and is missing the pliers and screwdriver. There is one small tear in the metal floor at the bottom of the spare wheel area.
I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.
It is located near Doraville Georgia and has a clean title. $500 deposit is due upon winning bid. Seller would like full payment and pick-up within two weeks of winning bid.
