*** I do not know why some of the pics are small and some are large when checking from a computer, but if you scan or look at the pictures on an iPhone, iPad or an Android phone, they are all large and easy to see. If someone has a tip on how to correct this, please send me a note*********
This 1984 Giugiaro designed Alfa Romeo GTV6 is finished in its original charcoal grey metallic with silver rocker panels over black leather interior. This rust free GTV is powered by a 2.5-liter Busso V6 paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission/transaxle. I acquired the car just over a year ago in October 2018 from a dealer in Detroit and do not have any prior history on the car. It was titled as showing actual mileage. I had a local experienced Alfa service shop go through it and corrected all issues as my intent was to be a long term owner/driver. I have receipts for over $6k in completed repairs which included mechanical work including a tune-up and replacement of the fuel pump, new exhaust system, most braking components, fuses, hoses, and more. Receipts for all work will accompany the car. This GTV6 is offered at a fair price with recent service receipts and a clear Michigan Title.
Exterior equipment includes a sliding sunroof, a black plastic chin spoiler, a power bulge hood.Body-colored 15″ wheels wear polished lips and are mounted with 195/60 Pirelli P4 tires. The tip of a new stainless exhaust system exits below the rear bumper. The exterior lights bulbs were replaced as needed during recent service. and a NOS locking mechanism was installed for the rear hatch. Finding a NOS locking mecahism was the biggest challenge but I was able to locate one in Italy (it just took 4 months) and it came with 2 keys and has been installed. The cost of that NOS rear hatch lock mechanism alone was $400.
The cockpit is trimmed in black leather over bolstered seats for four occupants. The leather is soft, supple and there are no rips or tears. The headliner is like new. The driver’s side door handle was replaced with NOS parts as well. Most of the fuses have been replaced and the GTV also has working factory Air Conditioning.
Functioning Veglia gauges sit behind a 3-spoke steering wheel. The 5-digit odometer shows 41k miles, 200 of which have been added since the mechanical refurbishment. The factory radio has been replaced by a more recent audio deck with MP3 player, but the original Alfa Romeo radio comes with the car and is included in the sale.
The 2.5-liter Busso V6 features Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 158 horsepower with 152lb-ft of torque in factory tune. The compression across all cylinders is excellent and the gas tank, fuel line and driveline were all flushed with he fuel pump and water temperature sensor replacedas well along with a new battery, fuses, air filter, and vacuum hoses. The 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly without the characteristic 2nd gear “grind”. There are no drips or leaks.
A new stainless exhaust system and catalytic converter were also installed. The rear end incorporates a 5- Speed manual transaxle and a De Dion tube located with coil springs and a Watts linkage. Brake work included a fluid flush as well as installation of new front hoses and replacement of the inboard rear calipers, pads, and rotors.
This is a very nice and rare GTV6. It is not a concourse car, I would rate at an 8 or 8.5 out of 10 but it is a great driver and is rust free and is ready for the next owner.
So why am I selling??? The reason for selling is that I acquired an extremely rare in the US 2004 Alfa Romeo 3.0 twin spark Spider (see last picture) and I simply do not have room for the GTV6.
This car is priced fairly with a modest reserve and I know that I will not recapture what I have in it, that is my loss but I have the Spider!!!!
I do not have any history prior to my purchase but will try to answer any and all questions. Am heading to Europe in December, so will need to get car picked up by the end of the month if at all possible. Will require $500 deposit through PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. Will accept all forms of payment but vehicle leaves premises only after payment has cleared.

The car is located in Medford OR about 15 minutes from the Medford airport and would welcome anyone to come see it. If you would like to receive a copy of all repairs before bidding, please let me know and I will send to your email.
