1992 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Additional Info:
This rare Yellow Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce has been in the same family since new. One brother bought it, enjoyed it and cared for it for 15 years, then passed it along to the other brother who has owned it since. The car spent the first 15 years going between the first brother's homes in Georgia and Florida. Then, it moved to the second brother's home in Indiana. It has spent its entire life garage kept and only driven in perfect weather.
Mechanically, the car is excellent. It has always been serviced regularly based on time rather than on miles. Everything works on the car as it should including the Air Conditioning which blows very cold. It starts right up, idles and drives perfectly, and the transmission shifts smoothly and quietly. There are no leaks from any of the major components: engine, transmission, differential, cooling, or brake systems. The mostly original suspension holds the car to the road like it should with this mileage. The brakes and tires are relatively recent with the left rear tire having been just replaced due to a nail. The oil was changed about 100 miles ago and the rest of the fluids are clean and clear. The radio stopped working a few years ago so it was replaced with the high end unit you see fitted. It sounds great through the all original factory speakers. The power antenna also works perfectly. Earlier this year, the odometer intermittently stopped working.
Cosmetically, nearly everything on the car is outstanding. The all original glass, top, and rear window are clear like they were new. The seats, dash, console, and carpeting show very little signs of any wear. All surfaces including the leather are supple and stain free. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car top to bottom. Every original factory badge, sticker, and tag is in excellent conditionand exactly where it should be. The included factory top boot, ortounou cover, is like new as are the factory tool kitand floor mats. The paint is in overall excellent condition with blinding shine throughout. The only exception is a slight difference in shade on the passenger door and right rear where the paint was scratched then repaired by the first brother. The repairs are flawless with the only visible signs being a very subtle difference in color in certain light.
Sadly, this current brother and wife now want to retire and downsize so there is no room for this beloved family heirloom. The car is now with the sister in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, where it is available to be seen and inspected with some notice please. There are many more detailed pictures of undercarriage, interior, top, exterior, etc available upon request.
. . The reserve is set extremely low for such a clean, original, and un-molested example to facilitate a quick sale.
