1986 Toyota Hilux Pickup.
This is a rare 2wd, 4 speed, short bed, base model. Only 188k miles, straight/solid body, legendary 22r engine. Classic Toyota's in this condition are getting harder and harder to find. It even has working A/C!

This sporty little truck is very solid, check out the pictures!! The interior is gorgeous. It has brand new carpet and brand new seats. This is a base model, so it only has power brakes. It originally had rubber floor mats in it, but I decided to do a little upgrade and replaced the rubber mats with brand new carpet. The brand new seats are installed correctly with each seat having 4 grade 8.8 bolts holding the seat to the sliders, and another 4 grade 8.8 bolts holding the sliders to the truck... No second rate workmanship here! Other brand new items on the truck include; Front bumper with corner pieces, and a Bully aero-gate.

The truck drives very well for it's age. The steering and brakes work well, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the engine is as sweet as a nut, no ticks, no knocks, no smoke, no leaks.

As mentioned before, the body is straight but the paint is original, it does have it's share of pen type paint touch-ups here and there. The only rust-through I've found on it is a small piece on the passenger side front fender (See picture). This truck is really nice for a 30 year old unrestored truck. The tires have a couple of thousand miles left on them, so I'd plan on replacing those soon. The rims are 17" Mustang wheels, which bolt right on with no special adapters.

I think this little truck would be perfect for a new driver looking for a reliable first vehicle. Or, as the basis of a full on custom, maybe a 2JZ swap.....!

The truck was involved in a very minor altercation with another car back in 2011 (See history report). The total sum of the damage can be seen in the pictures of the passenger side in the area behind the door.... It was very minor, but in the interest of full disclosure, it needs to be mentioned.
