You are looking at a rust free 1985 Straight Axle Toyota Extra-Cab Pickup with a 3RZ Engine, R151F transmission, 4:10 e-locker in rear, with rear disk brakes, transfer case hand brake, full floating rear end, new windshield and gasket, all brass triple layer radiator, and new radio. Other than that the truck is bone stock and has never been off-roaded. The 3RZ makes it an awesome truck to drive--way better than the 22RE that was originally in there. I bought it out of Southern California in 2010, and it has spent much of its time garaged here in NC. I had many intentions, but life things have changed for me, and I must sadly let it go to another lucky owner; if you buy it, please take care of it. Things I never had completed, but need to, are the AC needs a hose fitting shop to properly crimp together the AC hoses; the 3RZ compressor and vintage AC lines had different fittings, and the radiator hose clamps don't work for this. The grill is off an '84 2wd; I had it, and it was better than the one that it came with. The exhaust system needs to be larger from the conversion crossover pipe back, including the catalytic converter. All the body panels have little dings and dents, which need fixing, and it needs painting, and a new plastic bumper end on the passenger side; the bumper is fine and not bent. While the interior is way better than on most older Toyotas, the seats could use a little help, and there is a speaker hole behind the passenger side seat from a previous owner's intentions. I have driven it about 40K miles since I bought it, and 30K miles since I performed most of the upgrades. I have put about 7K on the new engine. As you might well imagine, there are no leaks anywhere, it does not use any oil, and runs and drives great. If you are in another state with picky inspections, the exhaust system and evap hose routings, which were done as per Toy Only Swaps specs, may not meet smog inspection standards. I am getting 21-25 mpg -awesome for a truck. Bidding starts at 8K with no reserve. $500 via PayPal due within 24 hours of auction close; then either cash in person, or cashiers check by mail with time for it to clear properly before title sent out. If the bid goes over $13K, I will drive it as far as a day from my home to meet someone, provided of course that we meet at an airport and arrange in advance. I have all the paperwork and receipts from my watch; here are a few highlights:
