1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

Legendary Mercedes 3.0 liter 5 Cylinder OM617 Turbo diesel known to last 300k to 400k and up miles. This one has less than 200k miles. Power windows and locks work. Engine shuts off fine. Tailgate lock must be done manually and rear wiper is inop. A/C works good. Runs and drives great. Brakes work good. Michelin tires have only 16k miles on them. Recent trip from L.A. to Sacramento with no issues. Also recently drove to Napa and SF in 100 degree heat and vehicle performed flawlessly. Awesome highway cruiser. Excellent MPG, I got approximately 29 mpg mixed driving. Interior MB Tex seats still holding up well after 30+ years. No rips, holes or stains. Has the rear facing jump seats.Service records dating back to 2008. Recent work includes new starter, oil change, fluids and filters. This vehicle even has the Euro headlight conversion. It is smog exempt in Calif. No smog EVER needed. This one will last many, many more miles. Classic and timeless design.

Update: To answer some questions I've had:
1. Battery was last replaced June 20162. Tires are Michelin Defender with lots of tread remaining3. Interior color is Palomino MB Tex, NOT leather. MB Tex is much more durable and long lasting.4. Timing chain and tensioner was replaced in 2011.5. Transmission was rebuilt in 2010.6. Glow plugs replaced in Dec. 20137. The photos of the rocker panel front driver/passenger side show orange peel, NOT rust. This is a Nevada/California vehicle with no rust.8. Sunroof is manual and opens/closes as it should. No leaks.9. I won't disclose my reserve price, but it is very reasonable.
Ebay won't allow me to post a link. This web page has a great article on the not very ubiquitous w123. Good read. Check it out. Happy Bidding!
