Up for bid is a one of #317 built WS27 1969 Coronet RT Convertible. I purchased this car in 2000 for $20K. I have had the entire drive train rebuilt, the suspension parts replaced including brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank, and the wiring harnesses. The gages were sent out for restoration and calibration. Everything works including the radio. The interior has been restored with Legendary Auto Interior seat covers and padding. The car only has 1,800 miles on it since all was done. This vehicle is 100% mechanically sound and has been kept in a heated garage and not exposed to rain since I have owned it. The car had a recent tap in the rear at a stop light resulting in very minor damage to the bumper. The car also has some small cosmetic paint spots as it was painted in 2000 but still not showing any rust. When I purchased the car in 2000 someone had welded a patch panel in the truck which was done very well and as a result I never had anything done to it. The top is in like new condition. I have been very careful not to alter anything that would hinder a complete restoration. I installed secret audio with speakers under the front seats so the dash panel and back surround panel has not been cut into. They are almost impossible to find. This car runs and drives beautifully and attracts a lot of attention wherever you go. This car is a blast to drive with the powerful 440HP motor. The car has stock exhaust which is even more impressive with the factory F-U tone it puts out announcing its brute presence and performance. These cars are very valuable and hard to find.
