1941 Willys 1/2 Ton Pickup Additional Info:

This Willys pickup started lift as a 1938 model, and comes with original VIN tag. A 38 hood and front clip is included in the sale (pictured) and very usable condition when I got it, it came with the 1941 front clip from an old drag truck / gasser. The front end is very usable and good condition for an original sheetmetal. The hood is extremely nice very straight and not rusted, but the rear hinge bracing had been removed and the hood was a pin on. The rear vent had already been filled also. I removed the rear brace from the 38 hood and welded it back on the 41 model. The front end fenders and center section was made to tilt and still has barn door hinges (pictured) welded under the center section, the two sections of the fenders where they had been split so the front section would tilt made it perfectly to the rear sections that were bolted to the cab and I had them professionally TIG welded back together. Overall the fenders are very nice. The cab also is very nice with excellent cab corners, I shortened and braced the fire wall 4", one area that will need to be addressed is a new floor and the left door jam brace / latch area, it is a little thin from rust in a couple areas and will need repair. The main body around it does not have those issues. The left drip rail has been shaved when I got it and I was going to do the same with the right. The rear of the cab is especially nice also and not beat up, and the doors are very nice as well, but I don't know if I have latches or regulators. The rear fenders are very nice and usable as well, very straight and only some rust pitting at the bottoms. The frame is very straight and rust free, has already had the front section boxed up and set up for early Hemi. The supercharged 392 in pictures IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. Part of the package is a speedway motors gasser straight axle kit with springs, spindles, and disc brakes. I have had this project for many years and don't look l will be able to get around to complete it. Needs to move to a new home for somebody else to love. Send me any questions you may have. Winning bidder will need to pick up or arrange shipping. Good Luck
