STK 4058 1941 Willys Coupe Pro Street
This street-legal 1941 Willys 'Pro Street' Coupe is a custom package from Outlaw Performance. It is a well thought-out and meticulously built Pro Street machine. The basic Outlaw package included the chassis, suspension and all-fiberglass body components. This handsome coupe is finished in 2-stage PPG Cherry Red and accents include Billet Specialty alloy wheels that mount Barum//Mickey Thompson performance radial tires. The inviting grey tweed interior is well designed with comfortable bucket seats and a purposeful dash that holds a full complement of Classic Instruments gauges and premium Pioneer AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth audio system. A custom wheel rests on a tilt column assembly and power windows utilize tinted glass.
Horsepower is furnished by a Chevy 509ci big-block carefully built by Steve Norwood Performance. The motor incorporates Merlin cast-iron heads, performance roller cam/lifters, Dart BBC single-plane aluminum intake and 850cfm double-pumper Holley carburetor. Compression is 10:1 so the engine runs fine on pump gas. (The big Chevy pulled 700hp on the dyno upon completion of the build.) Cooling is provided by a heavy-duty aluminum radiator w/electric fan and the 'Rat' sounds strong through tube headers and a shorty exhaust setup. A 3,000-stall convertor transfers torque to a built GM400 Turbo automatic transmission and Ford 9" positraction differential and 4.11:1 gears. The chassis is equipped with manual steering and manual 4-wheel disc brakes. This Willys is a Pro Street rod that can be driven to a car show and carry home a trophy. Any one of us would be proud to own this handsome machine. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
