Unique, lightweight, and exceptionally powerful, this 1933 Willys two-door sedan is a great way to standout in every crowd. When you see a Willys replica, they are usually a hot rod version of the 1940s cars. So this very custom 1933 car is far more unique, and likely more powerful, too (but more on that in a moment.) This kind of paint can only come from a labor of love. The silver has a great luster, and the black has so much gloss that it replaces many areas that would often be chromed, like the grille. But more than just the big picture, it even gets the details right with a black pinstripe that highlights the wraparound crease in the design line. Not only do you love fiberglass because it means rust is not a concern, but also the lightweight construction is great for powerful cars...and you can instantly tell this is one mean machine. The 15-inch Weld racing wheels help highlight the huge rear tires and the menacing forward leaning stance.Open the door to a nice maroon cloth interior. There are two buckets up front that have modern bolstering and enough padding for all-day comfort. There's only room for two in here because the rear is utilized for function. It includes a roll bar for rigidity, a battery box for better weight distribution, and accommodates the wheel tubs. If the rear wasn't enough of an indication that this was a pure driver's machine, then you'll instantly understand it the moment you slip behind the steering wheel. The full set of VDO gauges and the Lokar shifter certainly mean business. But this custom build does take some time for luxury with its overall build quality and features like power windows.Tip the front section forward and see a whole lot of V8 power. While the presentation alone will make you proud to show off this motor, there is a lot of substance beyond its shine. This is a 383 stroker V8 with less than 3,000 miles on the powertrain. Its been enhanced with go-fast goodies such as forged pistons, six-inch rods, Lunati cam, Edelbrock air-gap intake, Demon 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Sanderson headers, and much more (call for all the details.) It's a big power package that will become your favorite rumbling soundtrack as the exhaust exits out the side of this Willys. The V8 is mated to a 200-4R four-speed overdrive transmission that is fortified with a lock-up converter and trans cooler. Making sure all the power gets to those ultra-wide Hoosier tires is a stout Ford 9-inch rear end. The car feels great on the road thanks to a Mustang II-style independent front suspension that's been upgraded with tubular arms, good bushings, a thick sway bar, and front disc brakes. In the rear a triangulated coilover setup keeps traction well in hand. This is a very unique hot rod with less than 10K miles on the whole build (and less than 3K on the powerful V8.) You know there isn't anything else this interesting at this price, so hurry up and call today!
