1941 Willys Additional Info:
Complete frame off restoration.all steel car. Less than 200 miles since completed. Original frame, boxed and strengthened for the power of the 454 big block Chevy. This was an old drag car. It still has its old lexan windows which now roll up and down, you can see evidence of its past, like the filled and welded hole where the tunnel ram used to come through the hood, the rear fenders have been radiuse, except for these things the all steel body is basically stock. There are other race car modifications like an old school style roll bar, and the 1956 ford straight axel front end. The front end has been updated with disc brakes and a vega style steering box. The rear end is a 1959 ford 9 inch axle with old style traction bars and stock Willy’s leaf springs. The 454 is fairly radical. I don’t know much about it except I bought it with a fresh rebuild. And came attached to the tci prepped turbo 400, with the 3000 rpm stall converter installed. This car is not a show car, it has been a race car most of its life. The body lines are not perfect, it has a nice driver quality paint job, and is meant to be driven. There are small flaws in it and I am selling it accordingly. I am selling this car locally and reserve the right to end my auction.
