1955 Willys Additional Info:
We bought this jeep in 2012 and it needed one of everything, I tried to include the list of all work we have done, it was complete and comprehensive. Its dusty in the pictures as we live on gravel roads and it gets enjoyed a lot. Nothing was left untouched, we are firm believers that if you own something it should be reliable and trustworthy. Every single thing on the jeep was addressed, all brake components new including master cylinder, all ignition new, all new fuel, brake, and vent lines. All new hoses, belts, glass, every fluid flushed and changed, new fuel pump, new fuel tank and sending unit, sending unit, rebuilt carb, new batteries, complete new wiring harness, new lights and housings, repaired radiator, new thermostat, all new driveline bearings and grease, a few new seals, steering ends, leaf springs, seat canvas, seat belts and a roll bar for safety, gauge glass is a little hazy but they all work just fine. Trust me in that this jeep needs nothing. All work done by me, in my professional full time shop, this is about the 8th jeep I have restored, among many other military vehicles. The only thing we never addressed was any rust, as there is very little, one through spot in the driver floorboard, as they all do. Very minor surface rust on the frame, not hardly worth even painting. If I was you, I'd stencil some numbers on it and get to the first parade you can find. Please email me for a complete detailed list of all work done.
