1964 Volvo Other Additional Info:

I am relisting this car due to a non-paying buyer who has been reported to eBay. I am selling my car collection this year due to age and pending relocation. This 1964 Volvo PV544 is a good running/driving car. It has a front disc brake conversion. Clutch works easy and shifts fine. No exhaust smoke. All gauges and speedometer work but not odometer. Wipers, horn, lights all working. Interior is very good considering the age of the car. All glass is good, windshield looks almost new. The original B18 engine has been replaced by a B20. The only mechanical problem is that when the ignition is shut off the engine will continue to "run on" or "diesel" so to shut down the engine I put it into 4th gear and let out the clutch, thus stalling the engine.
This car spent some years in the upper Midwest so it has sustained some serious rust damage. The right side door and rocker panel (sill) area are especially bad. A previous owner has put in an insulating foam material as a "fix". Rust is coming through in other areas as well; I have tried to show the worst areas in the photos but just realize that rust is prevalent and will require considerable work to put right. An option would be to just drive it as-is and enjoy the ride. Some replacement body panels are available from VPautoparts.com and classicvolvorestoration.com.

Due to the age of the vehicle it is being sold "as is", No Reserve with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. High bidder gets the car so please bid like you intend to own it. Please do your research on shipping cost before bidding.
Successful bidder to pay for vehicle in full within seven days after auction. I accept cash, bank cashiers check or bank-to-bank money transfer. If paying by cashiers check I will hold vehicle and title until the check clears both the buyer's bank and my bank. I am adding this requirement due to past experience.
Bidders must have at least three feedbacks.

I will retain (keep) the license plate unless the buyer is an Oregon resident.

Ask any questions you may have and Happy Bidding!
