I ASSUMED THAT MY MECHANIC WOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE EASILY AND HAD AAA TAKE IT TO HIS SHOP. IN THE ENSUING MONTHS, HE HAD ME PROVIDE A LITANY OF PARTS WHICH HE PERCEIVED TO BE NEEDED. INCLUDED WERE:
NEW DISTRIBUTOR, IDLE CONTROL MODULE, RESOLDERING OF ECU BY SPECIALIZED ECU REPAIR SHOP IN FLORIDA ($193)
NEW FUEL TANK, NEW FUEL LEVEL SENDER, NEW OEM FUEL PUMP ($195) WITH FILTER, NEW FUEL RAIL, NEW FUEL INJECTORS, FUEL LINE RE-FABRICATED
RECEIPTS PROVIDED FOR ALL OF ABOVE. ALAS, THE NO START ISSUE STILL PERSISTS. I EVEN FOUND ANOTHER NUMBERS MATCHING ECU, BUT IT ONLY CONFIRMED ECU NOT TO BE THE PROBLEM. IN RESEARCHING INTERNET, I RECENTLY FOUND A CHAT ROOM REVELATION BY A GUY WHO SOLVED HIS SAME ISSUE WHEN HE DISCERNED AND REPAIRED A FAULTY GROUND WIRE. IT COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS THAT! I AM IN ESCROW ON CONDO WHERE I HAVE KEPT VOLVO STORED, SO TIME HAS COME TO PART WITH IT.
