You are bidding on a 1989 Volvo 240 Sedan. This vehicle was sitting in a garage for approximately seven years. The prior owner had passed away and the wife just refused to sell the car. When she passed, the family decided to finally sell it. When it came out of the garage, it was in good physical condition. I spent a considerable amount of money to make it road worthy again. The following items were replaced with new parts. Carfax shows discrepancy of 236 miles which I attribute to a clerical error, otherwise no issues.

Engine: Engine starts up and settles into a smooth idle right away. No hard starts ever. No engine misfire. Engine temperature never seems to creep past halfway point on guage. New thermostat. New waterpump. New timing belt.
Transmission: Automatic transmission shifts between gears smoothly. No hard shifts. No slipping. Goes from "Park" to "Drive" to "Reverse" and back to "Park" with no harsh engagement. No clunking or vibration. Smooth as it did when new! Shifts up and down through the gears effortlessly "Overdrive button on shifter DOES work. Arrow also iluminates on dash when overdrive engaged.
Brakes/Tires: Tires are brand new. Brakes and rotors are brand new. Both rear wheel bearings were replaced.
Electrical: EVERYTHING works on this car! Factory radio. Central locking. AC is ICE COLD!! Already converted to R134.
Interior Trim: As I hope my photos show, interior is in remarkably good condition. All plastic trim is present. Door panels. Door trim. No cracks or tears in upholstery or carpets anywhere. Headliner in perfect condition. A bit of sun fading on rear parcel shelf behind rear seats.
Paint/Exterior: As I mentioned earlier, physical condition is excellent. Paint is original. I see no sign of repair work done anywhere. There is an unrepaired parking lot ding/scratch on passenger rear quarter panel obove tire where rear door closes.
